The General's Beach - Archived Hospitality Website
A visual hospitality website for a beach complex in Albania.
The General's Beach was a hospitality and marketing website for a beach complex in Kavajë, Albania. I built it to give the business a stronger digital presence and a clearer way to present the beach, accommodation, restaurant, atmosphere, and reservation or contact paths.
Show the place before asking for a booking
The homepage used large aerial photography and full-width sections to communicate location, scale, and atmosphere quickly. I kept typography, colour, and spacing restrained so the imagery could do most of the work, while still giving visitors a direct path towards availability and contact.
Make the offer easy to scan
Accommodation was organised into apartments, suites, and villas, each with its own imagery. The structure was intentionally straightforward: people should be able to understand what was available without working through a complicated booking interface.
Restaurant and atmosphere
The restaurant section brought together menu photos, prices, and descriptions in the same visual language as the rest of the site. It gave the food offering its own place without taking attention away from the beach and accommodation.
What happened afterwards
The client and business liked the direction, and the site received visitors from several European countries. No traffic figures were retained for the case study.
The business later chose not to keep investing in the web project and continued using Booking.com for accommodation bookings. I did not complete a Booking.com integration before the project was discontinued, and the site is now archived rather than live.
